Shoe Moulding

Transitions

Reducers are often used between wood floors and thinner floor coverings, providing a smooth transition between floors of uneven heights. For example when transitioning from a hardwood floor to a tile floor. T-moulding are shaped like a T, with the beams of the “T” being a bridge from a flooring section, or a room, to another. These are most commonly used for doorways that are at the same level. Thresholds are used in similar ways depending on your unique floor and situation.
